| Job Description: | Organization: This is an excellent opportunity to join Insieme Technology Group - Cisco's latest acquisition in the Data Center space. The job involves working on a brand new stand-alone data center switch. Opportunity Snapshot: In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a brand new switch project as part of the software engineering team of Insieme BU, Bangalore. Become a key part of Cisco’s Data Center strategy. We are looking for candidates who strive in a fast paced start-up like environment. Responsibilities: - Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the development of software for Nexus 3K/Nexus 9K product family, with emphasis in Layer-2 and Layer-3 protocol/forwarding infrastructure. - Design and develop system software for the next generation Data center networking product - Comprehend newer, complex data-center customer requirements and translating to engineering features - Write complete functional and design specifications for those features independently - Lead development of subsystems - Develop large portions of software independently and rapidly with quality - Integrate and troubleshoot component level as well as system level issues for successful completion of product and software releases with aggressive timelines. | ||||
