Technology
Internship Program

Curriculum
The
curriculum includes technology training, orientation to the Firm, an overview
of the securities industry, senior manager presentations and professional
skills workshops. Highly skilled instructors - both external and internal -
conduct training while emphasizing the Morgan Stanley development environment
and infrastructure. Interns receive formal evaluations and informal feedback at
several points during Internship. This program prepares Interns to build
applications and infrastructure on distributed and e-business platforms. The
curriculum also includes intensive and advanced work in C++, Java, Unix,
Windows, Perl, .NET, C#, Spring framework, object-oriented analysis and design,
relational databases, middleware, XML/SOAP, messaging, systems architecture,
systems integration and Firm-specific tools.
The 8-weeks
Internship will be held in Mumbai / Bangalore and will kick off in May 2015. Interns
spend the 8 weeks of training on projects, sponsored by Morgan Stanley groups
seeking technical solutions to real business needs. Projects are designed to
integrate business concepts and technical skills taught in the program,
reinforce values through teamwork, and provide smooth transition to future work
groups. Interns are required to apply the appropriate technologies to complete
the projects according to the specifications and needs of their clients and
