Application Developer: IMS (Mainframes)

Designs, develops, and supports database solutions utilizing IMS (Information Management System) technology. Candidate should have experience in IMS DB, IMS DC, COBOL, JCL, MQ, DB2. Very good experience on IMS-DB & PL1. Hands on experience working with Mainframe related tools. Involved in coding of programs using PL/1. Monitoring daily batch jobs


• Software Design help lead in high level design and technical design discussions based on business requirements.
• Software Development coding in the required platform and language, configuration in the required platform, debug system issues under steady state or managed services.
• Code Review code of other developers to ensure proper design and coding best practices are followed
• Technical Documentation test cases, functional specification, technical specification, high level design, estimations
• Communication working with Technical Leads / Managers to understand priorities and setting the right expectations for deadlines, status reporting


Total experience required: 3+ years Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 3 years experience in IMS with COBOL and JCL
• English: Fluent
