Analyst, BlackRock Solutions -

Responsibilities:

• Involved in solving challenging business problems using creative solutions utilizing a variety of technologies.
• Will have the opportunity to work on significant projects that will expand their knowledge and skills, as well as benefit BlackRock. 
• Responsible for maintenance and support of our existing models, applications, and processes and suggesting improvement ideas
• In addition, they may play important roles designing and implementing new tools and processes. 
• Develops models using C++, Java, and Perl and makes extensive use of distributed computing to enable us to perform over 20 million risk calculations nightly 

Qualifications:

• Prior Experience of 1-3 years in the Software development using C++
• Must be able to write and understand complex financial algorithms for implementing methods, tools and applications
• Be able to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently
• Exposure to Financial Industry is a plus
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed institute a must
• Strong quantitative skills a must

Skills/ Qualifications:

• C# / .Net / Java
• Excel based financial modelling using VBA a plus
• Strong object oriented programming concepts
