Title: Software Developer

Years of Experience: 2 – 4 years
Educational Qualifications:
● Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science / Information Technology from a reputed college
● First class or better, and no gaps in education
Role:
The DevOps team will coordinate between the software development teams, QA, support and technology operations to significantly increase the quality of the install, patch, upgrade, operate processes. The DevOps team will be the liaison between different teams, coordinate schedules, help mitigate issues, validate integration with different software as needed, and be responsible for identifying risks and to make recommendations to minimize potential business impact.
Required Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of Cloud infrastructure(AWS, Rackspace etc).
• 2+ Year of experience handling production environments(Linux/Windows).
• Solid scripting skills(Bash/Perl/Ruby/Python).
• Hands on experience with installation and configuration of Servers like (Apache,Tomcat,Nginx etc).
• Good understanding of continuous integration and deployment tools(Jenkins, Chef, Puppet etc).
• Hands on experience with database(Mysql/MSSQL) configuration and management.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools(Nagios, Cacti, Ganglia) is a big plus.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of application logs and troubleshooting is a plus
