Software Engineer (C & C++)-1346691
Description
Require an experienced Enterprise Java
(J2EE) developer with J2EE Struts experience and WebLogic knowledge. Previous
experience with WebLogic Application Server (9.2) and Oracle DBMS is an
advantage. Particular knowledge of Web Services would help.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Java Application Developer will:
§
Responsible for gathering the application
specific requirements and determining how they will be incorporated into the
existing application.
§
Provide inputs to the Business Requirements and
System Requirements Specifications documents.
§
Understand the Architectural Design Document and
provide input, as necessary.
§
Evaluate the feasibility of the Change Request
as directed by the Project Team Leader or Change Manager and provide an impact
assessment, a proposed solution, and an estimate of the effort required to
complete the Change Request.
§
Participate in development projects to design,
code, test, and implement and deploy new application and enhancements to the
current applications.
§
Deliver all change control work products on time
as estimated in the project or activity schedule.
§
Ensure project documentation adheres to
Configuration Management standards.
§
Ensure that standards, procedures and guidelines
are followed as stated in the Project Defined Process
§
Provide application support as needed
§
Provide job support for nightly jobs as needed
SKILL REQUIREMENT & EXPERIENCE
Required Skills :
§
J2EE 1.5, Java 5 SE, JSP, Servlets, Struts,
JavaScript, WebLogic Application Server 9.2 or above, Oracle 11, SQL
§
Ability to work with multiple application
development teams in other regions will be critical.
§
Ability to work with minimum supervision
