Primary Job Responsibilities	Description: PayPal''s Business Engineering team is looking for passionate engineers to work on the new face of merchant experience. Are you an expert at HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX? Do you take pride in building high performance, high availability and highly interactive websites? Do you love bringing great designs to life and in the process of doing so have built encyclopedic knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies? Are you passionate about working on the latest technologies like NodeJS, express, backbone and more?     Work with development, marketing, and business teams to build features and functionality for PayPal's global web sites. .      Actively involved in development of new features using latest front end technologies and standards along with help support migration of old technology. ·       Participate in setting front-end coding standards and guidelines ·       Provide architectural guidance and direction for the presentation tier
Job Requirements	Qualifications: -    Expert knowledge of common web frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and jQuery/Dojo/YUI). ·      Desirable experience with JavaScript templating systems (mustache, Dust, etc) ·       Comfortable designing JavaScript architectures ·       Expert knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches. ·       Expertise with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web ·       Expert in software design patterns, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience developing nodejs applications or a solid experience building applications on top of RESTful APIs. Object oriented programming experience  C++ experience is desirable. Strong attention to detail. Proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to operate effectively both independently as well and within a team using Agile methodology Basic Qualifications Strong Software Engineer with experience developing using front end technoligies.
